Makhmud Gisamutdinovich Maksudov was born on January 15, 1900, in the village of Yugary Kibyakhuza, Tyulyachinsky District, Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. He entered Tatar Soviet literature during its formation and took a place among the leading writers of the republic.
He is a poet and essayist, author of short stories and literary criticism. In his works, he glorified the Soviet people, tightly welded into a single-family by common interests and goals, common labour and love for the Motherland, showed the patriotic labour of the Soviet people, the moral purity of the Soviet people.
The writer died in Moscow on November 10, 1962.
