Vadut Kashapovich Miftkhov was born on November 20, 1915, in the village of Yakhshy Karan, Sarmanovsky district, Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, in the family of a poor peasant.
Deep and comprehensive knowledge of the life of peasants, collective farm life, an understanding of the historical situation in which the organization and strengthening of collective farms took place - all this helped V. Miftahov to create vivid and expressive works about the life of Soviet peasants, about the great transformations in the Soviet countryside.
V. Miftahov's life was cut short in the prime of his creative powers on March 30, 1942. He died a heroic death on the battlefield. Buried in the village of Rydan, Arsenyevsky district, Tula region.
