Robert Mugallimovich Minnullin was born on August 1, 1948, in the village of Shammetovo, Ilishevsky District, Bashkir ASSR. Soviet and Russian Tatar poet, journalist, and politician. Since 1977 he was a member of the Union of Writers of the USSR and the Literary Fund of the USSR. Since 1998 member of the Union of Journalists of Tatarstan. He is the author of 34 books in Tatar, Russian and Bashkir languages. He was married and had a son and a daughter. Honoured Worker of Arts of Tatarstan, Honored Worker of Culture of Bashkortostan.
