Galimzyan Mukhammetshaevich Muhametshin was born on February 7, 1911, in the village of Bolshoi Sulabash in the Vysokogorsk region of the Tatar ASSR into a large peasant family. Muhametshin carried out active poetic work for children and youth.
Galimzyan received his primary education in the Tatar language in his native village, then studied in Russian for one year in the neighbouring village of Shuman, and continued his education in Kazan.
His poems and poems are saturated with Soviet patriotism, dedicated to the construction of socialism and labour. He became a member of the Writers' Union of the USSR in 1936.
Muhametshin died in 1941.
