Evgeny Mikhailovich Vinokurov was born on October 22, 1925, in Bryansk, USSR. Russian Soviet poet and teacher. Laureate of the USSR State Prize (1987). Member of the Writers' Union of the USSR. The first poems were published in 1948 in the Smena magazine with a foreword by I. G. Ehrenburg. In 1951 he graduated from the Literary Institute. A. M. Gorky, at the same time his first book "Poems about Debt" was published, in 1956 - the collection "Sineva", which was approved by B. L. Pasternak. Seryozhka s Malaya Bronnaya, a poem written in 1953 about Moscow boys who did not return from the front and their mothers fading away in empty apartments, is one of the most popular in Russian military lyrics of the 20th century, set in 1958 to music by A. J. Eshpay.
