Akhmet Yunusovich Yunusov was born on October 15, 1916, in the village of Asan-Elga, Kukmorsky District, Tatar ASSR, in the family of a poor peasant. Seventeen-year-old A. Yunus seeks to capture in his poems the great things that were happening in the Soviet Union during the period of rapid industrialization and the rapid growth of collective farms, in the years of unprecedented in the history of the rise of labour enthusiasm of the masses. The first collection of poems A. Yunus "Wonderful Youth" was published in 1936.
